  1. Hit up a Braves Game at Turner Field .
  2. See the Fantastic Fourth fireworks celebration at Stone Mountain Park.
  3. Visit the Bruce Munro exhibit Light in the Garden at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and see a unique installations created from hundreds of miles of optic fiber.
  4. Every Friday this summer watch a movie outside with Movies in the Park at The Avenue Peachtree City.
  5. Or Friday visit the Atlanta Motors Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags & Show-n-Shine.
  6. Check out the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo and the Georgia World Congress Center July 2-3rd.

What is Powdered Alcohol or Palcohol?

Powdered alcohol is just that: alcohol that has been made into a powder. You mix it with water – and you have yourself a cocktail. “Palcohol,” as it was coined by creator Mark Philips, came to be after Philips wanted a relaxing drink in the outdoors. It was designed for the outdoorsy-type who after bike riding, hiking or kayaking wanted to enjoy a cocktail without having to lug an extra jug other than their water bottle. It’s the new “portable” form of alcohol. And it comes in five flavors: Cosmopolitan, a margarita mix called “powderita”, vodka, rum, and lemon drop.  Read more
