“The amino acids work. I did experience withdrawal and the pain was very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t want anyone to think this process would be painless because it’s not. I would not, however, have been able to get off the substance without going through this process. If I was “doing it on my own,” I would have broken down and taken my substance because that is the “easy out.” This program kept me committed to getting clean.  I am thankful I found this Center.  The staff are very caring, non-judgmental and genuine with their treatment plans and goals.  It is hard to say if I would have stuck with this if they were otherwise.”
