“Before going through this treatment at ExecuCare, I had anger and resentment towards anyone who raised issues with my battle with opiates. Finally, after being tired of seeing my love ones and myself hurt for too long, I agreed to enter this ten day detox program using an IV with amino acids. Everyone here has been extremely supportive, easy to talk to and genuinely great people who want to see me succeed. I would highly recommend ExecuCare to anyone trying to become sober.
I was using all the way into the first day of treatment and everything went as planned. I did experience mild withdrawals through day 4-5 but my symptoms were controlled by the nurses. Day six is when my eyes were opened to the beautiful life of sobriety. I started noticing things that had been replaced by the drugs. For example, I woke up on the morning of day 7 and actually remember a dream for the first time in a year. Also, I had more energy to do things that I had missed, like hanging out with my family, throwing the football with my brothers or just detailing my car. My life is 100 times better today than it was ten days ago. I know I have a long road ahead, but I cannot thank everyone at ExecuCare enough for providing such a great beginning.”
