“Day 1 or 2 were kind of difficult and I felt like I had the flu. But I woke up on Day 3 feeling fine and I feel absolutely great. So if you do this – and I hope other people will – you can expect the first two days to be kind of uncomfortable but after that you turn the corner and you feel fine.”
Hi, guys, hope you well. Doing great down here. Baylor sports is center of my being. Today I am going to go to the Lady Bears basketball practice and have the players…Britney Griner and company… sign a plaque commemorating their 40-0 season last year….NCAA CHAMPS!!! We are going to win it again this year.
Somebody asked me to answer the below question. Here it is with my answer. Feel free to use it on your site;
What makes a drug addict?
You become an addict when the drug physically affects the neurotransmitters in your brain, and damages the receptor sites for them. Then you are in a jam because your thinking and perception is changed and you sink deeper because you make poorer and poorer decisions….you literally can’t help yourself….your will is gone. You are actually a different person than you were before the addiction. You need help desperately, but usually don’t know or acknowledge it. You become a slave to the drug, and must have it to make it through the day. You are a mess. That’s what an addict is. Don’t even question me about this…unless you have been there.
Doesn’t matter who you are …a bum, a President of a corporation, a preacher, an old lady…because usually it’s from prescriptions the doctors give you that gets you to this state. Biggest drug pushers are not the street guys, but doctors and hospitals….though their intentions are good..
